Tracy + David are internationally recognized artists based in Southern California. The husband and wife team have a background in photojournalism, and that pushes them to look deeper and ask questions about everything they photograph. Their work has been recognized in numerous national and International competitions and publications – from Communication Arts, one of the advertising industry’s most prestigious publications, to the American Photographic Artists, to being recognized as one of the 200 best photographers worldwide by Lürzers Archive.

Tracy + David have been photographing for a combined 45 years. Once they started picking up cameras in their teens, they couldn't put them down. There is something about photography that excited them in the beginning – and still excites them. They started out as news photojournalists (Tracy - about 20 years ago while in high school, and David over 25 years ago), and wanted to use photography to inform people, help make change, and make a difference in the world. They left that work about 10 years ago to focus more on their passions – telling stories that move people to get outside, respect the natural world (and each other), and be their best selves.

The team captures the beauty and drama of the outdoors in their fine art work, whether that be a mountain scene in the Alps or an area devastated in a fire. They seek to explore the color, vibrancy, patterns, and graphic nature of a scene. They aim to transport people in their images, and to feel as if they were there, in that moment in time.
